AUC's Kinsmen Pool Splash 5-6 pm: Nov 5/22

KINSMEN DIVE TANK SCUBA SPLASH - FOR CERTIFIED DIVERS ONLY!

Location: Kinsmen Sport Centre Aquatics (Edmonton), 9100 Walterdale Hill, Edmonton, AB T6E 2V3

Dates: Usually November through to May each year

2022: Nov 5, 19, 26, Dec 10, 17,  IN 2023: Jan 7, 21, Feb 4, 18, Mar 4, 25, April 1, 15, 29, May 6

Time: 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM - NOTE TIME CHANGE!! - Don't be late!  But don't arrive before 4:45 pm to set-up gear, sign waiver, show C-Card, etc.

What: Scuba splash for fun pool practice time for Edmonton & Area divers

Who: Certified divers only (must bring and show your certification card)

Cost: AUC Member Price: $15 prepaid or cash only +  (non member: $25)

Remember: Must bring all own gear including tank/weights, Be sure to contact your favourite LDS (local dive shop) for their gear/tank rental options)

​Has it been awhile?? Especial due to COVID?? Need a Refresher - contact your favourite LDS (local dive shop).

• Familiarize yourself with newly purchased or your locally rented dive gear
• Practice giant stride or other entries
• Practice your buoyancy - be confident
• Save the reef & practice in the pool with a new u/w camera & get better photos, faster! 
• Get properly weighted for upcoming trip - bring extra weights & try out different configurations
• Practice ditching your weights, mask clearing, air sharing, and other essential dive skills
• Practice with dry-suit before spring/summer diving season opens
• DIVE SAFE - have FUN!
